It started in Willow Hill in Alaska, a girl named Jessie’s “boyfriend”, Jake Reid, was caught cheating on Jessie with a girl named Evie. They were holding hands, laughing, and throwing pale white snowballs at each other. So, they broke up.

Shortly after that, she used a charming young man named Will to try and win him back. One of the most popular, pretty, and miss know-it-all girl in Willow Hill grew extremely jealous and angry at her. Then, Jessie’s two best friends, Abby and Erin, practically celebrated Sabrina’s jealousy.  It was their goal to make her jealous and for Jessie to win the Annual Best Costume Contest at the Northern Lights Ball, so they could rub it in her face.

Did I have a favorite character?

Yes, I chose Will mainly because he was so helpful and straightforward about everything. In this book he like, absolutely had no secrets to hide and seemed so confident about everything, all the time.

If I could relate to any of the characters it would have to be Erin. In the book she doesn’t like to wear anything dressy, she takes up for her friends, and doesn’t date at all as far as I can tell.  Although, I am not exactly like her. I do every so often like to wear skirts and maybe get a little dressed up, but I’m definitely not all “I never will even lay eye’s on one dressy item.

Which part of the book did I like best?

Ok, I would have to say when Jessie, Will, Jake, and Evie went to the mountains to ski. The time Jake and Jessie spent together, watching the Northern Lights—I mean I could just picture it clearly in my mind, and to tell you the truth that has to be one of the most beautiful things that I have ever imagined while reading a story.

Which part did I like least?

Probably the part where Jessie and Abby go to the ball, and she and Will dance. That’s because when it’s time to go see the Northern Lights, it was to cloudy and they couldn’t see them. Instead, they stood outside freezing to death just waiting for them to come.

If I would want to change any part of the story, It would be when they couldn’t see the Northern Lights at the Northern Lights Ball.

I would definitely recommend this book to all my friends, family, and just about everyone in the world that love’s teen romance.
